These streets were truly our own as hundreds of thousands of Arsenal fans lined the five mile (nine kilometre) route around Islington to celebrate the Gunners’ Premier League title, FIFA Women’s Champions Cup and champions from programmes run by Arsenal in the Community.
Red smoke, confetti, flags, cheers and chants filled the air as silverware was shown to those gathered on the ground and up high. Vuvuzelas, horns and fireworks pierced and echoed all afternoon and well into the evening.
