Liverpool is searching for another new manager after the club decided to part ways with Arne Slot just 12 months after securing the Premier League title. It's anticipated that Andoni Iraola will take over from Slot, with the Spanish coach having departed Bournemouth at the end of the season.
Slot was said to be shocked by the decision taken by FSG, which the club is insisting is not a negative reflection on his coaching abilities. Now, the Reds are in talks with Iraola, and club officials are confident of getting a new head coach in place before the World Cup starts.
Nevertheless, it's set to be another busy summer of transfer activity, as Richard Hughes and his team look to reshape the Liverpool squad. This could provide three Liverpool players, who previously appeared headed for the exit, with a fresh opportunity.
Curtis Jones
It had seemed as though Curtis Jones' Liverpool career was drawing to a close, with the midfielder being linked with a departure from Anfield.
Inter Milan had emerged as a potential destination for the 25 year old, who made 49 appearances across all competitions for the Reds this season.
However, he could be offered a second opportunity under Iraola, given the Spaniard's preference for versatile players. Jones has operated in his natural midfield role, but also at full-back, and it wouldn't be surprising if Iraola opted to retain the Englishman.

Harvey Elliott
Remember him? Unai Emery certainly struggled to find a place for him in his Aston Villa line-up this season. Having entered the summer as one of the most coveted prospects on the market, Harvey Elliott joined Villa on an initial loan, with the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.
Ultimately, the Englishman managed just 11 appearances across all competitions before returning to Anfield with his confidence dented.
The ability is undeniably there, and having fallen out of favour under Slot, a change of management could breathe new life into what appeared to be a Liverpool career on the brink, reports the Express.
Wataru Endo
Another of Liverpool's overlooked figures, Wataru Endo featured in just 12 matches throughout the entire campaign. Brought in under Jurgen Klopp, the Japanese midfielder never quite won over Slot and has spent the majority of the season warming the bench.

At 33 years old, Endo would be unlikely to command a pivotal role under Iraola, though that is not to say he couldn't prove his worth as a squad player.
With Endo contracted until the end of next season, and should Liverpool fail to find a buyer, there is every possibility that Iraola retains him within the squad.
