Talented Arsenal defender Josh Nichols is set to leave the Premier League champions to continue his professional career in Croatia with NK Kustošija.
Through their official channels, NK Kustošija have announced the signing of Nichols, who will complete his move to the club on July 1 after his Arsenal contract comes to an end.
Born in Plaistow, East London, Nichols is eligible to represent both the Super Eagles and Reggae Boyz at international level through his Nigerian mother and Jamaican father respectively.
The 19-year-old has been on Arsenal's books since March 2016, progressing through the club's academy ranks before making his senior debut in a Carabao Cup tie against Bolton Wanderers in September 2024.
Nichols signed his first professional contract with Arsenal in July 2024.
He was part of the broader first-team environment, featuring in matchday squads and training sessions with the senior team, though his competitive appearances remained limited due to strong competition for places.
The move to NK Kustošija is seen as a strategic step in his career progression, offering him regular senior football in a competitive European environment.
