GdS: Jashari, Nkunku and Gimenez star in Glasner’s no-transfer Milan

**A team has been mocked up for what Oliver Glasner’s XI could look like at AC Milan with no inward transfers.**

As it stands, Oliver Glasner is the first-choice coach for Milan and it may require the fewest changes in the summer. Indeed, he has used a 3-4-2-1 system heavily at Crystal Palace, but he also has a history with the 4-3-3.

In other words, the squad as it is is nearly perfect. Though transfers would be required to take it up a level. Especially with some big names expected to leave, namely, Rafael Leao and Luka Modric.

Glasner’s potential Milan team

------------------------------

As seen below, Gazzetta dello Sport has created a draft for what the team could look like and the defence would be relatively unchanged. Indeed, Mike Maignan, Strahinja Pavlovic and Matteo Gabbia would all remain.

However, Fikayo Tomori could be replaced on a permanent basis by Koni De Winter. At wing-back, the theme of no changes continues, with Alexis Saelemaekers and Davide Bartesaghi selected.

In midfield, Adrien Rabiot – presuming he stays – would start alongside Ardon Jashari. If the Frenchman departs, Youssouf Fofana could well take his spot.

Up front, it would be pretty interesting. Christian Pulisic and Christopher Nkunku would take positions on either side of the striker, whilst Santiago Gimenez would be given the reins of the attacking lineup.

Of course, additions would be expected, but as it stands, it is not a bad team at all.
