Aaron Wan-Bissaka is a target for Everton with David Moyes keen to land the West Ham United star this summer.

The 28-year-old is expected to become available for as little as £10million this summer following the Hammer’s relegation from the Premier League.

While he did not move to the London Stadium until Moyes had already left in 2024, the boss is now seeking to utilise his connections to reach an agreement and accelerate a deal.

Former West Ham scout Mick Brown, who worked closely with Moyes at the club, told Football Insider that Wan-Bissaka features high on Everton’s list on transfer targets.

Following the departure of Seamus Coleman, the addition of a new full-back has become a priority as part of Everton’s ambitious summer transfer plans.

Could Everton complete a deal for Aaron Wan-Bissaka?

Football Insider shared reports on 31 May that Wan-Bissaka could cost just £10million for any club looking to lure him away from West Ham this summer.

His availability has placed Everton on high alert, with the Toffees assessing a number of options in his position, and they could now make a move.

Moyes is believed to be a big admirer of the Crystal Palace academy product, and could finally link up with him after they came close at West Ham.

“David Moyes is a big fan of Wan-Bissaka,” Brown told Football Insider.

“Their spells at West Ham don’t quite match up, but I’m sure he will know all about him from his connections at the club, so that will help get a deal done.

“Everton have been looking for a new right-back as a priority ahead of the window.

“I’ve always thought Wan-Bissaka is a better player than most people give him credit for. A lot of it comes down to what you’re expecting from him.

“If you’re expecting to see Stanley Matthews every time he gets the ball, forget it, but if you want a solid hard-working full-back, he’s a top, top player.

“His desire to want to get forward is brilliant, and going the other way he’s excellent, the amount of times he makes a last-ditch tackle is outstanding.

“So in Moyes’ side, he could be a very good fit, because he can do his defensive duties and let their more expressive players do their thing going forward.”

Which other right-backs are on Everton’s radar?

Everton are scouring Europe in their search for a new right-back this summer and are considering multiple options to strengthen in a key position.

The likes of Leeds United’s Jayden Bogle, Genk’s Zakaria El Ouahdi and even Arsenal star Ben white are high on the Toffees’ shortlist as they step up their efforts.

Meanwhile, Football Insider revealed on 18 May that Lutsharel Geertruida is a target for Everton as he is keen to continue playing in the Premier League next season.

The right-back spent the season on the loan at Sunderland from RB Leipzig, and while he is not set to remain at the Stadium of Light, he could return to England.

Everton are well-placed to lure him away from Leipzig, with the Bundesliga giants now prepared to let him leave on a permanent move.
