Leeds United will be very active this summer as the club prepares for another season in the top flight. The 49ers’ plans are quite clear heading into next season.

Leeds Chief Paraag Marathe outlined that the club will do everything possible to invest on the pitch. But he also warned that it would be a measured approach due to financial regulations.

Which means there may be some significant exits from the first team in the coming months.

The prime candidates to be sold are most of the players who left in the last summer window.

Max Wober, Isaac Schmidt, Joe Gelhardt, Largie Ramazani and Mateo Joseph could all be on this list depending on how the off season goes.

Leeds United star tipped for summer exit

Hull City won promotion to the Premier League; the will play alongside Leeds United next season.

A big part of their Championship Playoff success was Leeds loanee Joe Gelhardt. The forward had a tremendous season as the Tigers booked their place in the English top flight.

Reports have increasingly linked Hull; with a move for Gelhardt after securing promotion.

Former City star Jacob Hunt has urged the club to go all out and sign Joe Gelhardt this summer.

“Joe Gelhardt, I think he’s a very, very good player,” He said, speaking on the 1904 Club podcast.

“I think he can play in the Premier League. He never really had that opportunity. He had a flash with it with Leeds. I think he’s ready to play in the Premier League, and he can be effective. You look at Jarrod Bowen, who’s a left-footed right-winger who’s scored goals in the Premier League.

“You’d probably end up playing three along the top, 3-4-3 or whatever way you look at it, with two real sitters in midfield, and it gives yourself a chance.”

Joe Gelhardt will fetch Leeds some good money

Joe Gelhardt was one of Hull City’s best players this past season.

He has shown his potential ever since joining the club on loan in the January window last year. His spell was so good, the club brought him on board for another season.

And he has delivered once again – 15 goals and five assists in all competitions.

Going into next season, it is clear that he is not in Daniel Farke’s plans, which opens the door for Hull.

Leeds stand to make some decent money off the forward, especially with the Tigers securing £200 million from winning the playoffs.
