It is said the 34-year-old man, identified locally as Denis, was attacked by a man, who police say is a Manchester United supporter, moments after Arsenal lifted their first Premier League title in 22 years on May 24. It is alleged a confrontation happened amid the celebrations in Kampala, Uganda, where Denis had been watching the match on TV.

Ugandan police have launched a manhunt following the incident, which happened on May 24 in Kampala, Uganda shortly after Arsenal lifted their first Premier League title in 22 years following a 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace.

“It is further alleged that the disagreement escalated into a physical altercation during which the suspect reportedly struck Denis on the head, causing him to collapse and die instantly. Efforts to apprehend the suspect are currently underway.”
