Manchester United are showing strong interest in Juventus defender Pierre Kalulu, with Old Trafford officials reportedly dispatching scouts to Italy during the closing weeks of the 2025–26 Serie A campaign to monitor the Frenchman’s performances closely. The Red Devils are actively seeking defensive reinforcements this summer, and Kalulu has emerged as one of the most versatile and appealing options on their shortlist.
Kalulu, who has been hailed as a ‘true leader’, is comfortable operating as both a modern right-back and a central defender, with his tactical adaptability regarded as a major asset. His composure in possession, athleticism, and ability to play out from the back suit the fluid, progressive style favoured by United manager Michael Carrick. Kalulu’s ability to step into midfield under pressure and start attacks from deep would offer United valuable flexibility, especially as they look to manage a demanding domestic and European fixture list next season.
Kalulu has proved a resounding success in Turin since completing a permanent move from AC Milan.
