Jonathan David could be on the move from Juventus and Tottenham can have a chance at signing him.
The striker struggled to make a mark in Turin during the 2025/26 campaign. He scored six goals and added four assists but was never convincing enough for Luciano Spalletti. This made sure he didn’t start even one of the last four league games.
Sport Witness have covered how English clubs are in the picture to sign him. Juve are interested in parting ways, as anything earned from his exit will go down as a capital gain.
Now, the Bianconeri are ready to offer him to Tottenham, as they want two players in return.
Cheeky offer on the way
TuttoJuve report that Juve are currently interested in two Tottenham players.
One is left-back Destiny Udogie, who is seen as the ideal solution for their full-back worries. Andrea Cambiaso’s future is in doubt and the ex-Udinese player can come in as a replacement.
Guglielmo Vicario is also a possible target. The Old Lady are desperate for a goalkeeper and feel the Italian is ready to return to the Serie A.
Juve also recognise that the financials for the two players could be steep. That is why they could offer David to Tottenham as a possible makeweight and some cash.
They’re optimistic that Roberto De Zerbi could be tempted by this chance. Even if the Canadian hasn’t impressed in the last 12 months, he is seen as a way to turn a complex move into an easier one.
Fancy idea but Tottenham shouldn’t be keen
It does feel like Vicario’s time in London is up. While Udogie has had significant injury worries, he may still have a chance at redeeming himself.
That is why Tottenham don’t have the direct need to let the left-back depart. More than that, they are under no pressure to let him leave for a cheap fee either.
A double deal for both Italians should cost over €50m, which is much more than David’s current value.
The Canada international himself would be quite a risk. That makes this swap much more convenient for Juve than Tottenham, who need signings across the backline and midfield.
