Juventus rumours denied

When asked about the situation on Fabrizio Romano’s YouTube channel, Matteo Moretto basically ruled out a move to Juventus for the Milan star. Indeed, the Bianconeri wanted him as a free transfer but not now, as the Rossoneri will demand a fee.

“Maignan-Juve wasn’t just a rumour before he renewed. In November or December, Juventus had contacted Maignan, offering him a significant contract. Then he renewed with Milan, so in short, there is nothing between Juventus and Maignan today.

“The Bianconeri are not considering top open negotiations with Milan for Maignan. It’s a transfer that would have had to be done on a free formula,” he stated.
