Report: Juventus uninterested in Gudmundsson opportunity

According to reports from Tuttosport (viaCalciomercato.com), Gudmundsson’s agents are hard at work attempting to secure a move away from Fiorentina, and among the clubs that the player’s representatives have reportedly spoken to is Juventus.

According to Sunday’s reports, signing Gudmundsson is expected to cost somewhere between €15m and €18m, including the cost of a potential loan deal for the first year.

However, the idea of signing Gudmundsson is not an idea that has convinced Spalletti according to the latest updates.

It is no secret that Juventus are hoping to add to their attacking department this summer, particularly at centre-forward following the confirmation thatDusan Vlahovic will leave the club at the end of his contract this month.

Juventus are looking for other attackers aside from a new centre-forward, although Gudmundsson is not a particularly enticing option, Real Madrid’s Brahim Diaz is becoming an increasingly difficult target to lock down and Manchester City’s Bernardo Silva will not join the Bianconeri without Champions League football.
