Lancashire’s King’s Birthday Honours list includes a mix of senior public sector leaders, business figures and community contributors, with most recipients recognised for services to policing, education, health and regional development across the county.

The most recognisable name is entrepreneur David Fishwick, who is awarded an OBE for services to finance, business and charity, following his high-profile work promoting local banking and small business finance in Burnley.

Also prominent is England Under-21 football coach Lee Carsley, recognised for services to association football. Their inclusion gives the Lancashire list its closest links to nationally familiar public figures, alongside a broader group of senior civil servants, NHS leaders and local government officials.

The remainder of the honours in Lancashire go to figures working across policing, probation, health visiting, regeneration and community sport, reflecting a strong focus on public service and local impact across the North West.
