Manchester United may have a unique chance to sign Bradley Barcola, who has reportedly expressed his desire to leave Paris Saint-Germain.
The Red Devils’ summer plans include signing another two midfielders alongside Ederson, whom they have already secured following a £35 million agreement with Atalanta.
Man Utd are also after a new left-back who can alternate with Luke Shaw, as Lewis Hall emerges as the top candidate. Moreover, the arrival of a right-footed left winger cannot be ruled out, even if some sources suggest that Matheus Cunha and Patrick Dorgu could be deemed sufficient options.
Bradley Barcola planning to leave PSG
Man Utd have been linked with a few options for the right-footed left-winger role, including Morgan Rogers, Yan Diomande, and Ilman Ndiaye, while some have proposed reinstating Marcus Rashford, who won’t be retained by Barcelona.
Nevertheless, United have been keeping tabs on Barcola in recent years, and this could be their perfect opportunity to strike.
According to L’Equipe, the 23-year-old and PSG could decide to part ways, as the player has been left frustrated by his understudy role.

The Frenchman, who began his career at Olympique Lyonnais, joined the reigning European Champions in the summer of 2023. While he swiftly managed to gain himself a starting role under Luis Enrique, his playing time diminished when Khvicha Kvaratskhelia joined the club in January 2025.
As the source explains, PSG director Luis Campos and the hierarchy understand Barcola’s position, and they would be open to selling him should they receive a suitable offer.
Do Man Utd stand a realistic chance at landing Barcola?
As Sport Bible notes, Barcola’s availability will turn many heads. After all, the French international is considered by some as ‘one of the best wingers in the world’.

Therefore, Man Utd can expect competition from some of their traditional rivals, including Arsenal, who are desperate to address their left-wing issues this summer, and even Liverpool, who had already pursued Barcola last summer before settling on Alexander Isak.
So if INEOS are serious about recruiting the Barcola, they must act swiftly and decisively. The source believes the asking price could be around £60 million, which is a considerable figure for a player whose contract will expire in June 2028.
But knowing that Man Utd’s priorities lie elsewhere, their Premier League rivals might have the upper hand in this particular race.
