Everton 'offered chance' to sign Leeds United and Coventry City-linked forward
Everton have been offered the chance to sign Leeds United-linked forward Lois Openda, according to a report.
The 26-year-old made a high-profile move during the last summer transfer window, joining Serie A giants Juventus on loan from RB Leipzig.
He had enjoyed a goal-laden spell in Germany, but the goals have dried up for Openda in Italy’s top flight. It has not worked out in Turin, although his move has since been made permanent by an obligatory clause in his contract.

Lois Openda transfer latest
According to Football Insider, Everton have been offered the chance to get Openda on board ahead of the 2026/27 season.
A loan-to-buy deal has been mooted, as has a straightforward permanent move. However, Juventus’ desire to pocket £40m for Openda could act as a stumbling block.
In April, regarding Openda’s standing at Juventus, transfer reporter Fabrizio Romano posted on X: “The obligation to buy for Lois Openda at Juventus has been authomatically activated.
“€46m (£39.7m) package deal for RB Leipzig between loan fee and permanent transfer, plus salary coverage. Juve will still try to find an exit solution for Openda this summer.”

Lois Openda in need of career resurgence
Openda is undeniably a gifted player, evidenced by his exploits in the Bundesliga. Across two years at RB Leipzig, he registered 41 goals across 93 appearances in all competitions.
He will be hoping to find form again next season having managed just two goals in 34 appearances for Juventus. Clubs may have reservations over his record last season and the mooted £40m asking price could therefore prove off-putting.
However, if Juventus are indeed keen to offload him, there could potentially be some wriggle room.
