Juventus are set to activate the purchase option originally included in the loan deal for OGC Nice’s Jérémie Boga (29), according to Fabrizio Romano.
Having arrived in Turin last February, after asking to leave the Côte d’Azur following abuse from Nice supporters, the Ivory Coast international, who has 24 caps (one goal), will therefore sign a permanent deal with the _Vecchia Signora_, who will pay €5 million to their French counterparts.
Starting in six of his 17 appearances for the _Bianconeri_ in the second half of the season, Boga particularly stood out in early spring, scoring in consecutive matches against AS Roma, Pisa and Udinese. Overall, he finished with four goals and one assist across all competitions.
Having previously played for US Sassuolo and Atalanta Bergamo, the striker will therefore return to Serie A for an eighth season, having already made over 150 appearances and scored nearly 30 goals in the league.
