Real Madrid have officially announced the signing of Ibrahima Konate on a free transfer from Liverpool. The confirmation comes a day after Bernardo Silva also swapped the Premier League for Spain's capital, having left Manchester City.
Konate, 27, has agreed a four-year contract, double the length of Silva's deal, but two short of the six-year deal Marc Cucurella will sign after the World Cup. Madrid are also due to announce the signing of Denzel Dumfries as they continue overhauling their defence.
