Arsenal have explored the possibility of signing Juventus winger Kenan Yildiz in recent weeks, according to Italian outlet Tuttosport.
The Gunners are poised to bolster their left-wing department this summer, and they have been linked with several high-profile names.
Yildiz has been among those, and Tuttosport claim that the Gunners have ‘explored a move’ and ‘made enquiries’ for the Turkish attacker.
The Bayern Munich graduate considers Arsenal a ‘welcome destination’, but the Bianconeri have no plans of parting ways with his services.
Juventus’ majority shareholder, John Elkann, has personally intervened and blocked the possibility of Yildiz heading for the exit door.
Arsenal face an impossible task to land Yildiz
The 21-year-old is considered one of the best emerging forwards in European football.
He had a productive 2025/26 season with the Bianconeri, scoring 10 goals and providing 11 assists.
The Turkish ace is primarily a specialist left winger, but he can operate as a centre-forward too.
Aside from his goal contributions, Yildiz has mesmerised with several other attributes.
He won an impressive two take-ons per league appearance last term. He also worked hard off the ball for the Turin giants, with five duels won and three recoveries on average.
Hence, Yildiz would be a perfect acquisition for manager Mikel Arteta, but it appears Juventus are reluctant to consider his sale despite their difficult financial situation.
Juventus failed to qualify for the Champions League last term with a top-four Serie A finish, and may need to recoup funds from player sales this summer to offset financial losses.
Yildiz is the Bianconeri’s most valuable asset. They seem prepared to keep him with plans to part ways with Andrea Cambiaso and Khephren Thuram instead before June 30.
Hence, Arsenal are highly unlikely to persuade Juventus to change their stance. The club are set to pursue an alternative. Aston Villa’s Morgan Rogers has emerged as a top target lately.
