It seems AC Milan could make a move for Nicolo Zaniolo this summer and an opportunity would be there for the taking.
In recent years, Milan have been linked to Zaniolo fairly regularly. Indeed, the Italian, who has never truly reached the heights hoped of him, has remained an option for the Rossoneri across several different managers.

As a physical winger who knows the league and would work well with registration rules, he has always been considered as an option. Formerly, it was as a young player who could take the next step with the club.
Now, it would be an experienced option in the prime years of his career. Whether that would impact the likelihood of a move this time, though, is something else.
Milan considering Zaniolo
According to MilanNews, the Diavolo are monitoring his situation after the success of his move to Udinese last season. Available for only €15 million and with a reasonable contract demand – between €600-700 thousand – he could well be an option to consider.
However, Milan are only considering him currently and this could see them fall behind in the race. Juventus and Como have already begun making moves, whilst the Rossoneri remain in the background.
The fact that his agent visited Casa Milan, though, would suggest that the rapport is there if they want to pursue a move.
