Real Madrid will not enter bidding war for Julián Álvarez -report

Atlético de Madrid star Julián Álvarez has voiced his desire to leave the club this summer and several European clubs are prepared to start a bidding war for the Argentinian wonder kid. However, Real Madrid have decided not to enter that race after Atlético rejected their €150 million offer weeks ago, according to a report published on MARCA.

Arsenal, Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona seem to be the three clubs interested in signing Álvarez this summer. Still, Atlético have leverage and don’t need to sell the player, that being the main reason why Álvarez himself put some pressure on them by saying that “the best thing would be a transfer.”

Barcelona will likely have to improve their initial offer significantly, while Arsenal and PSG have not made their moves just yet. Either way, Real Madrid will look elsewhere to improve their squad.
