Real Madrid superstar Vinicius Jr scored a brace in Brazil’s 3-0 win over Scotland on Wednesday night.
Vinicius Jr started the game off very well, scoring within the first 10 minutes after an error from Scotland inside their own penalty area.
He made it 2-0 after another error, although the goal was harshly ruled out for a foul by the Real Madrid man in the build-up.
He ended up getting his second goal with a header in the first half to double Brazil’s lead. The winger looked set to score a hat-trick but missed a number of chances in the second half - having an xG of 3.07, although both of his goals looked to be high-xG opportunities.
Endrick also came on in the second half, playing on the right and drifting in a few times.
Vinicius Jr ended the game with eight shots - five of which were on target - two chances created, two dribbles, and is now joint-top in the goal involvements chart with five, alongside Lionel Messi and Deniz Undav.
Brazil have topped their group, and will face the runner-up from Group F, which will be one of the Netherlands, Japan, or Sweden.
