Leeds United have reportedly shown concrete interest in a former Newcastle United defender
Leeds United have reportedly shown concrete interest in bringing Lloyd Kelly back to British shores.
The 27-year-old has plied his trade in Italy since February 2025, when he swapped Newcastle United for Serie A giants Juventus. He initially moved to Turin on loan, although the deal featured an obligation to buy for £20m.
A former England youth international, Kelly cut his teeth at Bristol City before going on to play under Eddie Howe at AFC Bournemouth and Newcastle.
He has made 65 appearances for Juventus but could seemingly find himself back in the Premier League soon.

Leeds United show ‘concrete interest’ in Lloyd Kelly
According to TuttoMercatoWeb reporter Marco Conterio, Kelly could leave Juventus in the sumer window.
Leeds are said to have shown concrete interest in the centre-back, who can also operate at left-back.
Posting on X, Conterio said: “Lloyd Kelly could leave Juventus in this transfer window, with the Englishman attracting interest from Spain and England where Leeds United have shown concrete interest.
“The Bianconeri have no obligation or urgency to make a capital gain by tomorrow, but they are clearly trying to gauge whether significant offers will arrive by the 30th for the players in the squad at home.”

Kelly is a left-footed centre-back who is comfortable on the ball but also adept at getting involved in the gritty side of the game.
Kelly boasts a wealth of experience but at 27, should have plenty of years left on the clock too.
