Spanish club considers making Vlahovic their backup striker

Dusan Vlahovic has been linked with a move to Barcelona as he prepares to leave Juventus at the end of this month, with the Serbian striker continuing his search for a new club after contract talks with the Bianconeri collapsed.

It has become increasingly clear that Vlahovic will depart Turin after failing to reach an agreement over a new deal with Juventus. The striker has been assessing his options for several months and remains determined to secure a move to one of Europe’s leading clubs.

Barcelona Enter The Race

Besiktas have already presented Vlahovic with an attractive proposal that reportedly satisfies the financial demands he made during negotiations with Juventus. However, the striker is believed to be holding out for a bigger opportunity before making a final decision on his future.

He has asked the Turkish side for additional time while he considers all available options in the market. That delay has now opened the door for further interest from other clubs searching for attacking reinforcements this summer.

As reported by TuttoJuve, Barcelona have entered the race for Vlahovic’s signature as they continue evaluating options to strengthen their attack ahead of the new campaign.

The Catalan side are reportedly looking for another striker, despite Julian Alvarez remaining their preferred long-term option to replace Robert Lewandowski eventually. Barcelona view Vlahovic as a player capable of providing quality depth and competition in the attacking department.

Juventus Exit Appears Certain

Barcelona are also believed to be open to selling Ferran Torres if an appropriate offer arrives, and Vlahovic could emerge as a replacement should the Spanish club decide to part ways with the forward.

The Serbian remains convinced he can still secure a move to one of Europe’s elite clubs while maintaining the high salary expectations that complicated negotiations with Juventus.

For now, however, Vlahovic remains without a new team, and uncertainty continues to surround his future as the transfer window progresses. Despite ongoing speculation, there appears to be almost no possibility of him remaining at Juventus beyond this month.
