Juventus Goalkeeper Search Continues
While negotiating over Kolo Muani, Juventus reportedly approached PSG regarding a possible move for Lucas Chevalier. The club had identified him as a potential candidate to become their first-choice goalkeeper in Turin.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Juventus were hoping that Chevalier, who had lost his position as first choice during the second half of last season, might be open to a move in search of regular starting football. However, PSG rejected the approach and made it clear they had no intention of sanctioning a departure.
Chevalier is also understood to have no desire to leave the French club at this stage, preferring instead to remain in Paris and compete for his place in the squad.
Alternative Targets Remain Under Consideration
Juventus are still monitoring other options, including Martinez, who has been focusing on international duty ahead of the World Cup. A final decision regarding his future is expected after the tournament, when transfer discussions are likely to resume in earnest.
