Lois Openda is reportedly set to leave Juventus this summer, only months after the club made his loan move from RB Leipzig permanent.
The Belgian forward joined the Bianconeri after they failed to complete a deal for Randal Kolo Muani, but his time in Turin has not developed as expected since his arrival.
Juventus had hoped Openda would strengthen their attacking options and establish himself as an important player within the squad, although he struggled to make the desired impact under two different managers.
There had been some belief that he could improve during a second season at the club, but Juventus appear unwilling to wait any longer and has already placed the striker on the transfer market this summer.

The Bianconeri are now prepared to end their association with Openda after a disappointing spell in which he failed to meet expectations despite arriving with considerable promise.
The player is also reportedly open to leaving Juventus in an effort to revive his career and secure a fresh start elsewhere following a difficult period in Serie A.
However, interest in his signature currently appears limited, with Lyon so far emerging as the only club strongly linked with a move for the Belgian attacker.
Lyon’s interest complicated by wages
According to TuttoJuve, the Ligue 1 side are interested in signing Openda, although his salary at Juventus is currently considered too high for Lyon’s financial structure.
This issue could become a major obstacle in negotiations unless a compromise is reached between all parties involved during the transfer discussions.
If Openda is determined to leave Juventus and rebuild his career, there is a growing belief that he may need to make financial sacrifices to secure a move away from Turin.
