Dusan Vlahovic is officially a free agent and continues to wait for a new club to secure his signature after recently returning to Turin following talks in Turkiye regarding a possible move to Besiktas.
The Turkish side, now managed by Vincenzo Italiano, is reportedly the only club to have maintained serious and consistent interest in the striker during the current transfer window.
Vlahovic is believed to prefer joining a bigger European club and has reportedly offered himself to teams such as Barcelona and Bayern Munich, although neither club has responded positively to the opportunity so far.
There is still significant time remaining in the market, and many clubs are currently focused on monitoring attacking players at the World Cup, which has slowed negotiations involving several forwards across Europe.
Besiktas remain interested
Despite the uncertainty surrounding his future, Besiktas continue to follow the Serbian closely and remain attentive to developments regarding his situation.
The striker’s wage demands are also believed to be a major factor complicating negotiations, with clubs reluctant to commit to the financial package he is seeking at this stage of the summer.
Even though discussions between Vlahovic and Juventus have not produced an agreement in recent months, neither side has officially confirmed a permanent separation.
Juventus reunion still possible
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, there remains a possibility that Vlahovic could still re-sign for Juventus before the transfer window closes.
The report states that Juventus have already presented the striker with an offer based on the club’s current financial structure and what they are prepared to pay.
Luciano Spalletti is also reportedly a strong admirer of Vlahovic and remains hopeful that the forward could return to the Allianz Stadium this summer.
Although Juventus are progressing towards the signing of Randal Kolo Muani, Spalletti is said to value Vlahovic because of the striker’s previous success within his tactical system.
The situation therefore remains open, with Vlahovic’s future expected to become clearer once more clubs complete their striker evaluations following the World Cup.
