Juventus have reportedly revived their interest in Leon Goretzka as the club continues searching for experienced additions capable of strengthening the squad before the start of next season.
The German midfielder is currently available as a free agent after leaving Bayern Munich at the end of last month. Despite his departure from the Bundesliga giants, Goretzka remains highly regarded across Europe because of his experience, physical presence and quality in midfield.
Juventus are working within financial limitations during the current transfer window and are therefore exploring opportunities to sign high-quality players without paying significant transfer fees. The club believe experienced free agents could play an important role in improving Luciano Spalletti’s squad ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Juventus Maintains Long-Term Interest
Goretzka has remained without a new club since leaving Bayern Munich, and Juventus are understood to have continued monitoring his situation closely over recent months.
The Bianconeri previously tracked the midfielder during the January transfer window, although a move at that stage was considered unlikely because of the circumstances surrounding his position in Germany at the time.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Juventus have now reactivated their interest in the midfielder and are once again evaluating the possibility of bringing him to Turin this summer.
Club officials reportedly view Goretzka as a player capable of immediately improving the quality, balance and leadership within the squad due to his experience at the highest level of European football.

During his time at Bayern Munich, Goretzka won multiple major honours, including several league titles, while regularly competing in the latter stages of European competitions.
His winning mentality and experience in high-pressure matches are qualities Juventus believe could prove extremely valuable as they attempt to rebuild and return to competing consistently at the top level.
Although discussions are still at an early stage, Juventus are expected to continue exploring the possibility of completing a deal in the coming weeks as they assess whether financial terms can be agreed with the midfielder and his representatives.
