Real Madrid set for another €15m transfer boost

La Liga giants Real Madrid are primed for a fresh imminent boost on the financial front, courtesy of a Serie A transfer deal.

This comes after AC Milan agreed to meet the demands of Italian rivals Lazio for defensive standout Mario Gila.

Stopper Gila is for his part fresh off a standout campaign at the Stadio Olimpico, giving rise to widespread interest in his signature across Serie A and beyond.

Recent days saw the aforementioned Milan emerge as sudden favourites to land the Spaniard, who quickly agreed on the terms of a contract with the Rossoneri.

On Tuesday, a [club-to-club accord](https://x.com/partidazocope/status/2074523003753222622) was then reached, over a figure understood to be in the region of €30 million.

As alluded to above, though, Lazio are not the only ones set to benefit financially from the transfer. Owing to a sell-on clause included in their sale of Gila back in 2022, Real Madrid are entitled to 50% of the fee.

Los Blancos are therefore in line for a cash injection of around €15 million.
