‘Not below this figure’ – Tottenham want €30m for transfer, player asking for €10m after tax

Tottenham Hotspur are ready to allow Richarlison to leave the Premier League side this summer.

The forward was a regular for Spurs last season and maintained his place after Roberto De Zerbi took charge in March.

He finished with 12 goals and five assists, and two goals and an assist were under the current Tottenham manager. The Brazil international has attracted interest from Turkey.

Last week, Sport Witness covered claims from Turkey that an unnamed Turkish club made an official offer to Spurs, without a mention of a price or Tottenham’s response.

The only detail was it was a top club, which could mean one of Galatasaray, Fenerbahçe or Beşiktaş. It may have been the Yellow Canaries, considering their delegation were in London for transfer talks.

The north London club are open to selling the 29-year-old. That’s according to Ajansspor, who make it clear it’s their own information about the figures needed to sign him.

Roberto De Zerbi’s side are demanding €30m for Richarlison and ‘will not consider offers below this figure’.

The former Everton man also seems in favour of leaving Tottenham Hotspur. He’s asking for a salary of €10m per year, after tax.

Both parties, who have made their demands clear, want to part ways this summer.

It’s unclear if any of Richarlison’s suitors are willing to meet Tottenham Hotspur’s price this summer.

He has less than a year left on his contract, and Transfermarkt value him at €25m.

The interested parties could use this to put pressure on Spurs to lower the price. They could even try to bring the price down by making a concrete push towards the end of the window.

There’s also been interest from Brazil, with clubs there looking at paying €20-25m, although they’d struggle to compete on wages with Turkish clubs.
