The defender joined PNE as an U9 and started his two-year scholarship in the summer of 2024, but has now moved on to pastures new.

Following a successful trial with the Tigers - which saw him play seven games - he has put pen-to-paper on a one-year contract, with option for a further 12 months.

He said: “I am delighted to be here. It is a big opportunity and I am grateful to be given it. I cannot wait to get started, put the shirt on and get on the pitch.

“I felt settled when I came in on trial and it is a great bunch of lads, on and off the pitch. I just love the entire set-up of the club and the way it is.”

There has still been no announcement regarding the group of PNE scholars Robinson was a part of. However, news has come to light on a handful.

Defender Joe Blake and midfielder Muhammad-Raiyaan Haji have been let go, with the pair playing for Longridge on the night.

The other scholars who signed up in 2024 are Ben Fitton, Somto Ifezue, Charlie Forwood, Isaac Lam and Josh Muir.

One youngster still on board is Nathan Snowball. He joined from Morecambe last August and spent the year as a scholar, with a commitment to signing a two-year pro-deal.

In early June it also was confirmed that Harry Stringfellow has penned a two-year professional contract.

His scholarship ended last summer but the midfielder was one of three U19s to have their one-year options activated.

Jonny Brindle and Troy Tarry were the other two and the latter was also spotted in pre-season testing, along with the aforementioned Nolan.
