Work is underway as Leeds United continue their much-anticipated Elland Road expansion project.
Leeds United have confirmed changes to their matchday parking process for next season amid the ongoing redevelopment of Elland Road.
Construction work is well underway to oversee a planned expansion of the stadium up to 53,000 by late-2030. The initial focus has been on the West Stand with aspects of the ground demolished and floodlights removed.
Signs of ongoing work are expected to be clear as the 2026/27 campaign plays out. As a result, Leeds have confirmed the Fullerton Car Park will not be in use and off-site parking has been secured as a replacement option.

Leeds also say they have obligations to fulfil regarding matchday traffic congestion and reducing car park entry times around Elland Road. After discussions with Leeds City Council, the club have confirmed they will manage and operate the council car parks around the ground on matchdays.
A statement said: “Leeds United will be digitising the process, with the aim of providing a faster service for cars to enter the car parks, to help with traffic congestion. All bookings must be made in advance, there will no longer be an option to pay on the day at any of the council’s car parks, with spaces to be sold via the club’s online ticketing platform.”
Leeds also confirmed the new process will be in place for both Elland Road pre-season friendlies. The Whites host RB Leipzig on Saturday August 8 before welcoming FC Augsburg to LS11 a week later on August 15.
Leeds United explain reason behind car park decision
The statement added: “The club and the council continue to work together on development proposals for the ground, surrounding area, and match day operations. These new arrangements are part of wider travel plan arrangements for match days aimed at preventing vehicles queuing back from car parks onto the public highway, which will aid the overall traffic congestion situation.
“There will be a number of further announcements in due course in relation to car parking and other changes at Elland Road over the upcoming season and we thank supporters for their patience whilst the ongoing redevelopment works take place.”

"No doubt there'll be some disruptions here and there,” he said. “The ticket office is gone. I know where we are up in the chairman's area, there's going to be some disruptions as well. I think that it's all by design because we're trying not to compromise or sacrifice seats during games during the season.
"It's all being done over a sort of a longer period of time so that we keep as many fans in their seats during matches. So there will be disruptions and probably some annoyances and hopefully everybody can just bear with us as we get through."
