Exit-linked Rangers star told he'd be 'up against it' if he made this transfer move

The Ibrox midfielder, showing his skills with Belgium, has been linked with the Premier League newcomers.

Hull reportedly offered £14m for Raskin, but Rangers want more than £20m, and it's unclear if Hull can meet this.

Sky pundit, Alan Smith, thinks Raskin could be a good addition to Hull as they try to build a squad capable of competing in the Premier League.

However, he has cautioned the player about the challenges of joining Hull.

Smith said: "If he comes to Hull, he’ll be up against it.

"They’ll be losing most weekends."

Smith went on to say: "They need more bodies, more talent, more quality.

"I mean, he only broke into the Belgium side last year.

"But as you said, got an assist.

"He’s been wearing his national shirt, which will give him confidence."

He added that Hull need to be "cute" with their signings, considering their budget, and should aim for players with both "hunger and ability."
