Brighton said they will provide any support their star winger Kaoru Mitoma needs following a car accident in Japan.

Mitoma, 28, was involved in an incident that saw a female cyclist knocked off her bike by Mitoma's car in Tokyo.
Mitoma is said to have fully cooperated with Japanese police who arrived on the scene. The cyclist is said to have suffered “bruising”.
A statement from Brighton, as reported in the Argus, said: "The club are aware of the situation and we are pleased to hear that nobody has suffered any significant injury.
“We will be available to Kaoru for any support he needs.”
Mitoma apology to injured cyclist
Mitoma's management also issued a statement, that read: "We sincerely apologise for the great inconvenience and worry caused to the injured party and all those involved in the accident.
"Mr Mitoma himself takes this accident very seriously and is responding with feelings of sympathy and apology to the injured party.
“The injured party has been examined at a medical institution and diagnosed with bruises, and Mr Mitoma was not injured.
"We take this matter very seriously and will fully cooperate with the investigation by the relevant authorities.
“We will also strive to thoroughly instil safe driving awareness and strengthen compliance education to prevent recurrence."
