Harry Wilson has signed for Leeds United
Harry Wilson's switch to Leeds United has finally been confirmed. The 29-year-old Wales international saw his contract end at Fulham on June 30, making him a free agent, ensuring Leeds get a quality Premier League-proven player without having to pay a transfer fee.
The Whites were always leading the chase for the winger having shown their desire to land Wilson last summer, only for Fulham to pull the plug on the deal in the closing hours of the transfer window. That desire and commitment to Wilson went a long way to securing the services of the player, who has signed a four-year contract at Elland Road that takes him to his 33-years-old.
Fulham's player of the year last season with 11 goals and eight assists, plus the BBCs goal of the season award winner, Wilson will hope to continue that form at his new club with a number of familiar faces from the international set-up ready to help him settle in.
Able to play as a wide man cutting in who can score a significant number of goals, Wilson can also provide head coach Daniel Farke with another option in a number 10 role, should the Leeds boss not bring in further reinforcements who can play that role.
