After an agreement was reached at the back end of June, it’s now been announced by the club, with the Wales international signing a four-year deal.

Importantly, Leeds weren’t alone in signing the right-winger, and for good reason. He’d just finished a stunning campaign in front of goal at Craven Cottage, scoring 10 and assisting seven under Marco Silva.
Fulham confirmed to have tabled a contract renewal. But also, Aston Villa and Benfica were also named in the running previously.

Of course, we know the obvious reason behind why Wilson has opted to join Leeds over others. The financial incentives are clear at United with a four-year contract signed.
However, the lure of playing for a club of this stature, alongside multiple Wales compatriots, was what helped seal the deal.

It’s clearly a statement from Leeds to get this over the line. What is clear is that a star from last season’s Premier League is 100% sold on the project here. Exciting indeed.
