Crystal Palace are interested in signing former Tottenham misfit from PSG.
Randal Kolo Muani is a player Paris Saint-Germain have been looking to shift for some time, and it looked like they had managed it.
The France international was sent to Tottenham Hotspur on a season-long loan last term, where he turned out to be an underwhelming addition. The versatile forward managed just a goal and an assist in 30 Premier League appearances, and after such a poor return, Spurs have decided to not contact PSG over a permanent deal.
This had opened the door for Juventus to swoop in for Randal Kolo Muani. A deal that looked pretty likely just a week ago is now in doubt. However, as per reliable journalist Ben Jacobs, talks between Juventus and PSG have stalled, leading to several other clubs from across Europe expressing interest in signing him.

Crystal Palace eyeing a move for Randal Kolo Muani
Interestingly, the latest reports suggest Tottenham have made direct enquiries to PSG over the possibility of a permanent signing for Kolo Muani. However, Spurs are set to face competition from one of their London rivals for the PSG outcast’s signing.
According to a report from French outlet Foot Mercato, Crystal Palace are looking to make a move for Kolo Muani. They have made contact with PSG for their player. Aston Villa and Borussia Dortmund are also keeping tabs on the 27-year-old.
Despite not featuring in Luis Enrique’s plans, PSG are demanding around €40million for Kolo Muani. The forward is under contract at the Parc des Princes until 2028. The French champions do not want to send him out on loan again and have made clear their financial demands.

Crystal Palace spent big on the signing of Jorgen Strand Larsen in the January transfer window, and any move for Kolo Muani would certainly be contingent on Jean-Philippe Mateta’s future. As far as Tottenham are concerned, the 2022 World Cup finalist failed to make a lasting impression last season, scoring just five goals in all competitions. Yet, the N17 bosses’ decision to enquire about signing him permanently would not go down well within the Spurs fanbase.
Kolo Muani clearly struggled with the pace and physicality of the Premier League, proving a bad fit at White Hart Lane. Perhaps our club chiefs believe that the Frenchman could come good in the long run after a full season of adaptability. There is no other logical reasoning as to why we would want to sign the PSG outcast permanently after an underwhelming loan spell.
Nonetheless, it is worth noting that Kolo Muani has made it clear to PSG officials he favours a move to Juventus.
