Juventus CEO Giovanni Carnevali has provided an update on the club’s pursuit of Randal Kolo Muani, as Juventus continue negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain over a potential transfer.
The French striker is keen to complete the move and remains determined to make it happen. He is one of Juventus’ leading transfer targets and is eager to secure a return to Turin.
Kolo Muani previously enjoyed a spell at the club and is hoping for another opportunity. Juventus are also interested in bringing him back as they continue their plans for the new season.
Juventus continue talks with PSG
After a disappointing loan spell at Tottenham last season, Kolo Muani believes he can rediscover his best form in Turin. He is also being viewed as a potential replacement for Dusan Vlahovic should the club complete a deal.
Juventus have already reached an agreement on personal terms with the striker. However, they still need to agree on a transfer fee with Paris Saint-Germain before the move can be finalised.
Negotiations between the two clubs remain ongoing, with Juventus continuing to explore the possibility of completing the transfer during the current window.
Carnevali provides latest transfer update
Providing an update on the negotiations, Giovanni Carnevali said via Sky Sports:
“The asking price hasn’t been lowered and we haven’t raised our offer , but we’re working across the board. I wouldn’t focus solely on him. If there’s a long gap, we need to make the right assessments ; we’re trying to do the best thing,”
Carnevali’s comments suggest discussions are continuing, although there is still a gap between the two clubs regarding the financial terms of the proposed transfer.
Juventus remain interested in signing Kolo Muani, but they appear prepared to consider other options if an agreement cannot be reached. For now, talks with Paris Saint-Germain continue as the Bianconeri work to strengthen their attacking options ahead of the new campaign.
