Nottingham Forest have completed a transfer.
The Reds have announced Jota Silva has left the City Ground to join Olympiacos, who are also owned by Evangelos Marinakis, on a season-long loan.
The club has also confirmed there is a clause in the deal which gives Olympiacos the option to make it a permanent move next summer.
Forest confirmed his departure in a statement, which read: “The forward has joined Olympiacos on loan for the 2026/27 season, with the Greek side holding the option to make the deal permanent at the end of the campaign.
“Jota joined Forest from Vitória SC in August 2024 and went on to make 38 appearances for the club, scoring four times and providing three assists.
“He then spent last season on loan at Turkish side Beşiktaş, where he featured 22 times in all competitions, scoring five goals and registering one assist.
“The 26-year-old is now set for a new chapter in Greece with Olympiacos, who finished second in the 2025/26 Greek Super League to secure UEFA Champions League qualification.
“Everyone at Nottingham Forest wishes Jota the best for the season ahead.”
