Aston Villa are reportedly unwilling to sell Emi Martinez for less than €10 million this summer.
Juventus are keen to sign the Argentina No. 1 after Luciano Spalletti identified him as his first-choice target, with Liverpool blocking Alisson's exit.
Martinez is currently representing his country at the World Cup, but that has not stopped Juventus from attempting to reach an agreement with his representatives over personal terms.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two parties have already reached an agreement in principle over a three-year contract worth €5 million per season, plus bonuses.
The report adds that the proposed deal would represent a pay cut for Martinez, who currently earns €7 million per year at Villa.
As for a club-to-club agreement, nothing has been finalised, with Juventus so far unwilling to meet Villa's €10 million asking price.
Martinez is under contract at Villa until 2029 and has established himself as one of Europe's top goalkeepers over the past few years.
He will, however, turn 34 in September and still commands a significant salary, which, combined with even a relatively modest transfer fee, makes him an expensive signing.
Juventus finished sixth in Serie A last season and missed out on Champions League qualification. They will be aiming to replicate Villa's achievement from last season by winning the Europa League in the upcoming campaign.
