Villa have added a friendly at Porto to their pre-season schedule.
Unai Emery’s men will travel to face the Portuguese club at the Estadio do Dragao on Saturday, July 25 (kick-off 7pm local time).
The match is sandwiched between two games at Walsall’s Pallet-Track Bescot Stadium.
Villa first face the Saddlers in their opening pre-season fixture on Tuesday, July 21 (7.30pm), before hosting Real Sociedad at the same venue the following Tuesday, July 28 (also 7.30pm).
The latter fixture had originally been scheduled for July 25 before being pushed back, leaving a window for the Porto match to be arranged.
Villa will play the bulk of their pre-season matches overseas with three fixtures scheduled for a tour of the Far East, which culminates in a showdown with Bayern Munich in Hong Kong on Friday, August 7, as part of the inaugural Audi Football Summit.
Emery’s team also play Indonesia All Stars in Jakarta on Saturday, August 1 and BG Pathum United in Thailand on Tuesday, August 4.
Their preparations for the Premier League kick-off conclude with a friendly at Borussia Monchengladbach on Saturday, August 15.
Villa’s first competitive match of the season takes place three days prior to then, on August 12, when they face Paris Saint-Germain in the European Super Cup in Salzburg.
