One of Leeds United's most recent arrivals is being eyed as a potential transfer target this summer.
Leeds United’s only current senior goalkeeper Lucas Perri has emerged as a possible summer transfer target for Torino.
Perri joined Leeds from Olympique Lyonnais in a £16million deal last summer, the 26-year-old initially brought in to take the No.1 spot. But his debut campaign at Elland Road was disappointing and ended with him falling behind Karl Darlow in the pecking order.
The Brazilian started 16 Premier League games last season but the most recent of those was in January, with back-to-back mistakes against Manchester United and Newcastle costing him his first-choice spot. Four appearances since were all in the FA Cup.

Perri has now emerged as a potential summer target for Torino, who are in the market for a new goalkeeper according to Italian journalist Gianluca Di Marzio. The Leeds shot-stopper is believed to be a new name on the Serie A side’s ‘list’ alongside former England international Aaron Ramsdale and Paraguayan Orlando Gill.
As things stand Perri is not only first-choice at Leeds, he is the only choice. Fellow goalkeepers Darlow, Illan Meslier and Alex Cairns are no longer contracted to the club - although the YEP understands an agreement has been reached with the latter.

Similarly, Leeds might have one eye on the goalkeeper department at Manchester City but if James Trafford is to leave, he’ll have no shortage of suitors. The 23-year-old will also not come cheap amid reports of a £40m price-tag.
