Juventus supporters are hoping the club enjoys a successful summer transfer window by signing several top players to strengthen the squad ahead of the new season.
The Bianconeri will see the upcoming campaign as another opportunity to return to winning trophies after falling short in recent seasons. To achieve that goal, they are expected to strengthen the squad while also moving on players who have not made the desired impact.
Recruiting high quality additions remains a priority, and speculation continues over the players who could arrive in Turin before the transfer window closes.
Lobotka linked with Juventus move
One player who has been mentioned as a potential signing is Stanislav Lobotka. However, there is uncertainty over whether Juventus will be able to persuade Napoli to part with the midfielder.
Discussing the possibility of the transfer, journalist Franco Piantanida said via Tuttomercatoweb:
“One name that could pique the fans’ imaginations would be Stanislav Lobotka. I think it could be a good move, especially since his time at Napoli seems to be over and I don’t see him fitting in with Allegri’s ideas.”
Piantanida believes Lobotka would be an exciting addition for Juventus and feels the midfielder could be available if his future at Napoli is nearing its conclusion.
Napoli stance could block transfer
Lobotka is regarded as one of the best midfielders in Serie A and is familiar with the style of play preferred by Luciano Spalletti, making him an attractive option for Juventus.
However, Napoli are reportedly unwilling to sell the midfielder, making any potential move difficult to complete during the current transfer window.
Unless Napoli change their position, Juventus could face a significant challenge in their pursuit of Lobotka and may be forced to consider alternative midfield targets before the transfer window closes.
