Key accountabilities of the role:
Daily Opening Procedures- Arrive on site each morning, unlock the building, complete facility readiness checks, and ensure all areas are safe and operational for users.
Daily Closing Procedures- Secure the building each evening, complete end of day inspections, and ensure all equipment and spaces are left in a safe condition.
Facility Inspections- Carry out routine checks of sports halls, pitches, changing rooms, toilets, and communal areas, reporting issues promptly.
Liaison With Cleaners- Coordinate daily cleaning requirements, ensure standards are met, and communicate any additional needs.
Contractor Coordination- Support the organisation of maintenance visits, supervise contractors on site, and ensure safe working practices.
Health & Safety Compliance- Follow Tigers Trust policies, complete basic checks (e.g., fire exits, lighting, equipment), and report hazards.
Minor Maintenance Tasks- Undertake small repairs where appropriate (e.g., replacing bulbs, adjusting equipment, basic DIY).
Customer Service Support- Provide a friendly presence for facility users, answering basic queries and escalating issues when needed.
Record Keeping- Maintain logs of checks, incidents, and contractor visits.
