Dusan Vlahovic could wear the Juventus shirt again after his contract with the club expired at the end of last month, with the striker now reportedly seeking a surprise reunion.
Besiktas have been working to sign the forward and were prepared to meet the wage demands he had previously made to Juventus. However, a move to Turkiye at this stage of his career is reportedly not an option he wishes to pursue.
Vlahovic delayed deciding in the hope that Barcelona or other leading clubs would submit an offer. With no such move materialising, he has now turned his attention towards the possibility of returning to Juventus.
Vlahovic Seeks Juventus Return
According to Sport Mediaset, Vlahovic has ignored the advice of his father, who also represents him, and has made contact with Juventus about rejoining the club.
The report states that the striker has requested a new meeting with the Bianconeri and is now prepared to lower his financial demands in order to return for another season.
Despite that reported change of stance, Juventus have other priorities as they continue planning for the new campaign. The club are focused on strengthening the squad while assessing several transfer options.
Juventus Face Key Decisions
The report adds that Juventus’ new CEO has not yet spoken to Vlahovic, with his attention currently centred on bringing Randal Kolo Muani back to the club.
It also claims that Juventus might have to sell Jonathan David if they are to re-sign Vlahovic. The Canadian forward remains under a long-term contract in Turin, making any potential departure difficult unless a leading club comes forward with an offer.
For now, Vlahovic’s future remains uncertain, with the striker reportedly eager to return to Juventus while the club continue to evaluate their transfer plans. Whether a reunion becomes possible is likely to depend on Juventus’ activity in the transfer market over the coming weeks and the decisions they make regarding their attacking options.
