AFC Bournemouth have unveiled their new home kit for the upcoming 2026/27 campaign.
Having moved away from their previous kit manufacturer, this is the first kit release following the partnership with Danish sportswear brand hummel.
The new shirt also has two brand new sponsors. Vitality, emblazoned across the front inside a pink and black disc, whilst the sleeve sponsor is MrQ Casino, appearing in blue.
The kit was unveiled with yet another fantastic video from the club’s media department. The club continues to double down on pushing the new “club anthem” of “never tear us apart”, whilst there are some welcome appearances from well-known characters from around the club.
Current players, from both the men’s and women’s teams feature, alongside former players and some well-known supporters. The video being filmed from various locations such as Gloucester Road, Kings Park Cafe and Queens Park pub.
There is some nice detailing in the shirt: in gold underneath the collar, the club crest from 1936, similar to the town crest, features in gold. Whilst the detailing from that shield is featured inside the red stripes.
The Hummel logo and Hummel chevrons on the shoulders appear in gold, along with some gold on the sleeve cuff, almost giving the kit some vibes from previous shirts that featured the gold from around the 2015-2016 period.
Thankfully, the black stripes continue uninterrupted on the back of the shirt, unlike one of those previous iterations.

My only issue is the circle short sponsor with the black surround? Not a fan, but the rest is top tier.

Almost perfect, but for the emergency stop button on the belly. What were they thinking? I like the long-sleeve version James Hill is wearing though, hopefully there’s a sponsorless option in the shop?
yoof
That circle sponsor is an absolute stinker.
The coat of arms is a nice touch – other than that it’s not doing much for me.
However, the retro training jacket is sublime. – To join the conversation, please click here.
