Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri is said to have attracted loan interest
Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri has reportedly attracted loan interest from Serie A outfit Torino.
The 28-year-old was a marquee signing for the Whites during the last summer transfer window, arriving from French giants Lyon for a reported £15.6m fee.
He proved unconvincing in his maiden Premier League campaign and was leapfrogged in the pecking order by Karl Darlow in January.
Perri continued to see action in Leeds’ run to the semi-finals of the FA Cup, but his absence from league fixtures sparked doubt over his future.

Leeds United goalkeeper attracts ‘loan interest’
According to Sky in Italy, Serie A outfit Torino have shown interest in taking Perri on loan. They are also said to have taken a look at Southampton’s Aaron Ramdale, who is back at St Mary’s after a season on loan at Newcastle United.
Leeds are not believed to have received any contact regarding Perri and it remains to be seen whether they will allow him to move on this summer.

Verdict on Lucas Perri
He said: “Darlow isn't making those mistakes, so Perri's going to have to be patient, simple as that. But I've been impressed with his attitude. I've been impressed when he's come in to those cup games, he's done very well. I like his attitude as well, I think he found it just a little difficult at the start.
“You think back to some of the games we've got through, with the penalty kicks [at Birmingham City and West Ham United], he's done great.”
