Leeds United are pleased to announce Academy midfielder Loui Whitehead has signed a first professional contract with the club.
The 17-year-old will continue his development at Thorp Arch until 2028 after penning a two-year deal with the Whites.
Last campaign, Whitehead made 29 appearances in all competitions which included a debut and four further outings for Scott Gardner’s Under-21s side.
The central midfielder picked up valuable experience in Premier League International Cup ties with Athletic Club B and RSC Anderlecht Futures as well as starts in the Premier League 2 against Liverpool and Arsenal.
