Kyle Joseph has spoken for the first time since completing his on-off move from Hull City to Middlesbrough.
The dynamic frontman signed a four-year contract at the Riverside Stadium after the two clubs agreed a deal a week on from their previous agreement hitting the buffers.
Joseph, who arrived at City in a £2.5m deal in January 2025, enjoyed a fine campaign in the Championship last term, scoring eight times and registering five assists as the Tigers won promotion, and became a popular figure in East Yorkshire.
Cruelly, for the hard-working 24-year-old, he was forced to miss City's play-off final victory over Boro at Wembley, after being on the wrong end of a crude challenge in the semi-final second leg win at Millwall.

Boro have been training in Portugal this week ahead of their first friendly at Celtic next weekend, which Joseph will miss as he recovers from ankle surgery.
“I’m so delighted to sign for this massive club," Joseph told the Boro website.
"It’s such an ambitious club and I really want to help it achieve its goals. I’m an all-action centre forward, but most importantly, I want to score goals and help the team win games.”
In confirming his exit from the MKM Stadium, City wished their former striker well in a heartfelt goodbye.
"A valued member of the Tigers’ play-off-winning side, the hardworking 24-year-old made 65 appearances in black and amber after signing from Blackpool in January 2025," City wrote.
"All eight of his goals and five assists came during last season’s Championship promotion success, with his maiden effort coming away to Bristol City in August.
"The tireless frontman netted important goals in victories over Southampton – both home and away – Portsmouth, Wrexham, Millwall – a clinical brace – and Sheffield Wednesday, his final City strike.
"We would like to thank Kyle for his effort, dedication and contribution to our promotion campaign, and wish him all the best for the future."
