Middlesbrough have landed the ideal striker to spearhead their promotion campaign in Kyle Joseph, according to EFL expert Aaron McLean.
Boro completed a £4m deal to land the frontman from Hull City this week, with Kim Hellberg looking to add goals to the side which came so close to winning a place in the Premier League last term.
Joseph, 24, bagged eight goals for the Tigers last season, but former Hull, Peterborough and Bradford striker McLean insists he will be perfect for Boro's needs in the coming campaign.
"He's got fantastic movement," he told BetSelect. "He's a tenacious, hard-working player, and he has a knack for just being in the right place at the right time.

"I think he's the perfect signing for Middlesbrough. He's proven at a Championship level. It was unfortunate that, at the end of the season, he picked up an injury.
"But he definitely adds to what Middlesbrough have got. Middlesbrough will go again, no question. They'll be up there challenging for promotion again.
"And for Kyle, I think it's a good opportunity for him to go and play week in, week out in a team that's going to be challenging.
"Last season, he did great for Hull, but I think he's still got a lot of development in his game, and Middlesbrough is a fantastic place to go on and do that."

Joseph is Boro's second summer signing, following a deal to bring winger Myles Peart-Harris to Teesside, and can't wait to get started.
"I'm so delighted to sign for this massive club - it's such an ambitious club and I really want to help it achieve its goals," he said.

"I'm an all-action centre forward, but most importantly I want to score goals and help the team win games."
