Manchester United's move to sign Ederson is reportedly OFF after the Red Devils performed a dramatic U-turn. United agreed personal terms with the midfielder and struck a deal with Atalanta worth up to £39million in early June.
But it's understood an underlying knee problem has scuppered the transfer following a medical in the UK. Ederson, 27, had been desperate to join the Red Devils and hinted during the World Cup that it was a done deal.
But multiple reports emerged on Friday evening stating that the Brazil international won't be moving to Old Trafford. It comes as United close in on signing Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos for £48m.
