Torino are in the picture to sign Leeds United goalkeeper Lucas Perri, and their sporting director, Gianluca Petrachi, has been asked about the possibility of signing him this summer.
The Premier League side invested around €15m to sign him from Lyon in July 2025 and he had a mixed debut season at Elland Road.
He made 20 appearances for Leeds United, keeping four clean sheets and conceding 33 goals.
Perri made only six appearances this year and four were in the FA Cup. He had to settle for a place on the bench because Daniel Farke favoured Karl Darlow in the league.
The Serie A side have taken an interest in the 28-year-old. Four days ago, we relayed news that Torino have included him in their target list.
On Friday, Sport Witness covered claims from Italy that Perri is a dream target for the Turin club. However, a deal remains difficult because of Leeds United’s high asking price.

Gianluca Petrachi has been speaking to Sky Italia to explain the Turin club’s plans for this summer and TuttoMercatoWeb have relayed his comments.
When asked whether Torino can sign a defender next week, he revealed a goalkeeper is keen on a move.
“We already have clear ideas. We know what we want to do. We’d like to keep our top picks and not settle, but to do that, we also need to wait for the players’ wishes. The guys we’ve been monitoring call us every day to find out about the situation,” he said.
“There’s a goalkeeper who wants to join us; they made him another offer, but he wants to join us.”
Sky specifically asked the director whether he was talking about Leeds United’s Lucas Perri.
Petrachi explained: “I won’t name names. There are two or three players who have been closely watched. But with all due respect, I obviously can’t say anything. We’re definitely moving forward with the idea of bringing in a strong goalkeeper.”
Torino working behind the scenes
Sky Italia, relayed by Toro News, claim the Italian club continue negotiations with Leeds United for the Brazilian.
That’s probably because Lucas Perri is looking for a new club this summer. There could be an advance on Monday, as the talks between the two clubs will continue next week.
With a contract until 2029, Transfermarkt value the South American at €10m.
